New York Knicks’ Alec Burks underwent further testing for his sprained left ankle and will be in a walking boot, the team announced.
Burks will be re-evaluated in seven-to-10 days.
The 29-year-old has missed the team’s last four games after suffering the injury against the Milwaukee Bucks on Dec. 27.
Burks scored 22 points in the first two games this season and is averaging 20.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in three games.
The Knicks have still managed to win four of their last five games since he suffered the injury, including the game he left early.
