Wesley Matthews had nothing but good words to say about his teammates in the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Matthews called James and Davis ‘two of the most versatile defenders the game has ever seen’.
“Obviously, those are two of the most versatile defenders and just players in this game that this game has seen. They’re two amazing players and they can definitely make the game easy for everybody on both ends of the court,” Matthews told reporters, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Daily.
Davis (10 rebounds, four assists, three steals) and James (11 boards, seven assists) scored 26 points apiece for the Lakers, helping the defending champions survive a late thriller against the Memphis Grizzlies (94-92).
