Miami Heat veteran Udonis Haslem had a very NSFW response for J.J. Barea following claims Dirk Nowitzki hated the Miami Heat during the team’s Big 3 era.
Nowitzki had a bit of friction with Dwyane Wade and LeBron James back then but got one over the star-studded outfit in the 2011 NBA finals.
“He was not going to let us lose,” Barea said on JJ Redick’s The Old Man & The Three podcast. “The way he prepared the whole year for it. He hated Miami, he hated LeBron [James], [Dwyane] Wade, [Chris] Bosh.”
Miami’s OG has since let Barea know the Heat weren’t particularly fond of the Mavs either. You could see his reaction below:
