The Los Angeles Lakers recorded their third straight win by beating the Memphis Grizzlies 108-94. LeBron James was the top scorer for the defending champions with 22 points. He also had 13 rebounds and eight assists.
Fourteen of LeBron’s points came in the fourth quarter, which started with the Lakers holding a narrow two-point lead. After the game, Los Angeles head coach Frank Vogel praised the superstar for his performance in the final period.
“He was terrific. He knew the action he wanted to get to (to) exploit their defense,” Vogel said per Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet.
