The Los Angeles Lakers improved to 3-2 this season after taking down the San Antonio Spurs 121-107. Following the road win, LeBron James, who had 26 points, five rebounds and eight assists, talked about what helped his team come out with a victory.

“We knew we were going against a very good team. They do a great job of getting to the paint. They do a good job at shooting the three, sharing the ball. We just wanted to get multiple stops in a row,” the four-time NBA champion said.

“We got a hell of a boost from the bench. Wes [Wesley Matthews] came in and shot the hell out of the ball. That was exceptional. Trez [Montrezl Harrell] got offensive rebounds. So our bench gave a us a heck of a boost tonight.”
