Luka Doncic is still looking for ways to improve, as he recorded another disappointing performance in the Dallas Mavericks’ blowout loss to the Charlotte Hornets Wednesday.

The Mavs’ superstar never got in an offensive groove, as he registered 12 points on 4-of-10 shooting missing all of his five attempts from beyond the arc.

After the Mavs’ loss, the Slovenian superstar expressed his belief that his shots will fall in if he continues to work every day.

(via ESPN’s Tim MacMahon):

“I’ve got to do way better. I’m 21 in my third season. I can improve so much. I can still improve so much, so I’ve got to work on those shots every day. If you work on it, they’re going to fall in. That’s my point of view,” Doncic said on Wednesday.

The Dallas Mavericks’ record is not what many analysts would expect after the first four games of the season, as Rick Carlisle’s team is on a 1-3 record.

The franchise is certainly missing Kristaps Porzingis’ two-way presence, as the star forward/center is recovering from injury.

However, Luka Doncic’s performance will be the crucial factor, if the Mavericks want to be successful this season.
