The Los Angeles Lakers recorded their second straight win by crushing the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-91. The defending NBA champions had 41 defensive rebounds while the Wolves had 31.

After the game, LeBron James talked about his team’s defense going forward this season. “We want to be one of the best defensive teams in the league, if not the best and we took that to heart in our first two games of the season,” he said.

“We wanted to get our percentages down. I thought we played swarming defense tonight against a team that can score no matter who’s out out there for them.”
