In absence of Anthony Davis, Kyle Kuzma saw increased minutes on the court and was able to deliver, as he had 20 points in 29 minutes of play in the Los Angeles Lakers’ win over the Minnesota Timberwolves (127-91).

After the game, LeBron James talked about how Kuzma has improved his game. “The game is just slowing down for him,” the four-time NBA champion said. “I mean has ability to score the ball. We all know that. His shot making ability either guarded or unguarded.

“But what he’s done this year so far what he through our short training camp what he did actually later in the postseason you started to see the extra pass. You start to see plays happening. You look at the pass that he had to KCP in transition tonight.

“You see the dump off that he had to Trez for a dunk. He’s just starting to make plays and see plays that he didn’t see in his first couple of years. That’s all part of the growth. He is year four and the game is slowing down tremendously for his. He’s going out there and just playing the game.”
