Marc Gasol and Montrezl Harrell came in as replacements for JaVale McGee and Dwight Howard this past offseason. The 35-year-old Spaniard, who won a championship with the Toronto Raptors back in 2019, brought a different playing style as a big man.

One of the main changes that Gasol brought into the game was his ability to see the court and pass. The veteran center had eight assists in the Lakers’ win over the Timberwolves. His teammate Kyle Kuzma was on the receiving end of some of those passes.

After the game, Kuzma talked about playing alongside Gasol. “Right after he signed I just delved deep into the film watching him realizing how great of a passer he was. Any time I’m with him, I just try to play whether it’s two-man games, Boston cuts. Any time I move I know he’s gonna find me,” the 25-year-old forward said.
