Memphis Grizzlies big man Isaiah Stewart II is dealing with a bone bruise in his right knee, leaving his return timetable uncertain.
The team has not announced how long Stewart will be sidelined, although head coach Tuomas Iisalo expressed optimism about the severity of the injury.
Iisalo said he believes Stewart avoided “anything major,” suggesting the knee issue may not require a lengthy absence.
Stewart’s injury adds to Memphis’ frontcourt concerns as the Grizzlies prepare to continue their schedule without a full rotation.
