Kyle Kuzma reacted to being a starter for the Los Angeles Lakers for the first time this season.
Kuzma was impressive for the Lkaers, scoring 20 points in the first half, on 8/12 shooting (4/6 from beyond the arc).
As Frank Vogel noted, Kuzma is expected to be a starter for the Lakers whenever LeBron James or Anthony Davis miss a game.
“Just more opportunities. Obviously we’ve got two superstars, and rightfully so. One of those guys is out, I just have more opportunity,” Kuzma told reporters, via Matthew Moreno of Lakers Nation.
