Giannis Antetokounmpo was disappointed after the Milwaukee Bucks’ 20-point loss to the New York Knicks. The back-to-back MVP expressed his belief that the Bucks need to play harder, especially on defense.

“At the end of the day we have to play hard. This is not us, this is not us. We have to play hard, we played well in the previous game but we have to keep getting better,” Giannis said via Kane Pitman.

Antetokounmpo’s 27 points, on 9-of-15 shooting, was not enough for the Bucks, who conceded their second loss in the last three games.

The 2020 MVP also had 13 rebounds and five assists to conclude his performance against the rebuilding Knicks. The Bucks are facing the Heat on Tuesday in the first of back-to-back matchups with last season’s NBA finalists.
