CJ McCollum exploded with 44 points helping the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Houston Rockets in overtime (128-126). The 29-year-old shooting guard made 9/16 three-pointers, including a game winning buzzer beater.
Former NBA champion and current analyst Kendrick Perkins reacted to McCollum’s performance by predicting that the Blazers guard will make it to the All-Star game this season.
“This is CJ McCollum year to finally make that All-Star game…most underrated Shooting Guard in the Leage!!! God Bless America,” Perkins tweeted.
