Dennis Schroder will be a starter for the Los Angeles Lakers in their season opener against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Schroder had made it clear he wanted to be a starter for the Lakers, yet Frank Vogel was not expected to make his final decision until opening night.
Schroder and the Lakers defeated the Clippers twice in preseason last week.
