Former NBA players and current ESPN analysts Richard Jefferson and Paul Pierce preview the 2020-21 NBA season for the NBA title-defending Los Angeles Lakers, with skilled forward/center Montrezl Harrell and point guard Dennis Schroder joining superstars – LeBron James and Anthony Davis – on the Lakers.
Big man Marc Gasol and wing Wesley Matthews also are on the team, with point guard Rajon Rondo, who signed with the Atlanta Hawks, and swingman Danny Green, who was traded to Oklahoma City, gone.
Last season as a Clipper, Montrezl Harrell averaged 18.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.1 blocks across 27.8 minutes.
Meanwhile, Dennis Schroder averaged 18.9 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.6 rebounds in 65 games (two starts) for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
