During his recent appearance on the Club Shay Shay podcast hosted by a three-time Super Bowl Champion and Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe, a former NBA star guard Gilbert Arenas discussed who is the best player in the league currently and answers who he would build his franchise around if given the chance:

“If I’m starting a team with 1 player, I’m going LeBron. I can draft anybody around him. If you have a Kobe, it’s hard to draft a LeBron. But if you have Bron, it’s easy to get Kobe. Kobe won’t sacrifice for LeBron. LeBron will sacrifice to bring Kobe on board,” Arenas said.

Los Angeles Lakers star forward and reigning NBA Finals MVP LeBron James is coming off of his fourth title and at age 35 last season, averaged 25.3 points, a league-high 10.2 assists, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals while shooting at 49.3 percent from the field.
