Paul Pierce says LeBron James is the best point guard in NBA

Former NBA Champions and current ESPN analysts Paul Pierce and Richard Jefferson joined Rachel Nichols on The Jump to play “Make or Miss” and discuss if Detroit Pistons skilled forward and part-time stand-up comedian Blake Griffin, who threw Thomas Bryant and then smiled at him during the game between Pistons and Washington Wizards last night, is an underrated troll, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks preseason game and how fun Charlotte Hornets’ point guard LaMelo Ball is to watch so far.

According to NBA GM’s Survey, the best point guards in the NBA are:

  1. Stephen Curry, Golden State – 30%
  2. Damian Lillard, Portland – 22%
  3. Luka Doncic, Dallas – 19%
  4. Chris Paul, Phoenix – 15%
  5. LeBron James, L.A. Lakers – 11%
  6. James Harden, Houston – 4%

LeBron James is coming off of his fourth title and at age 35 last season, averaged 25.3 points, a league-high 10.2 assists, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals while shooting at 49.3 percent from the field.
