LeBron James opened up about his expectations for his preseason debut with the Los Angeles Lakers against the Phoenix Suns.

James said he wants to continue what the team did in its first two preseason games.

“I want to just continue what the ball club has been doing. They’ve been sharing the ball, moving the ball, playing at a really good pace and trying to defend and rebound,” James told reporters, via Harrison Faigen of Silver Screen and Roll.

James did not play in the Lakers’ first two preseason games (both against the Clippers), as head coach Frank Vogel has made it clear he will not push either James or Anthony Davis, due to the short offseason.
