LeBron James was not initially in favor of the NBA starting the 2020/21 season on December 22, just 71 days after the end of the NBA Finals.
James spoke with reporters on Monday and revealed his reaction when he found out the season would tip off in Christmas Week.
“LeBron James on his initial reaction to season starting on Dec. 22: “Oh sh—!” He was initially under the impression for a January start, but he said he said he’ll adjust,” Mark Medina of USA Today Sports reports.
James and the Lakers will face their rivals Clippers in the season opener on December 22.
