James Harden wanted to play alongside John Wall and not Russell Westbrook, says Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
“[James Harden] had a preference of John Wall over Westbrook,” Wojnarowski said during his appearance on Get Up.
It seems the Rockets are doing their best to convince Harden to remain with the team, even though their superstar has expressed his desire to join the Brooklyn Nets.
For the time being, though, Houston has no plans to trade Harden unless they receive a massive package.
