Anthony Davis is expected to meet with the Los Angeles Lakers and sign a new contract with the defending champions.
Davis will meet with the Lakers as early as Tuesday, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.
“Anthony Davis, who remains unsigned but is widely expected to soon finalize a max deal with the Lakers at the contract length of his choosing, is expected to meet with team officials as early as Tuesday, league sources say,” Stein reports.
It is still unclear what the length of the new contract will be, as Davis can sign a multi-year deal with the Lakers.
