While the Milwaukee Bucks have been busy this offseason making moves in hopes that small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who took home both MVP and DPOY last season, will sign his five-year supermax extension with the team, big man Anthony Davis has been waiting to sign his looming new deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, and those two delays may be connected.

Veteran sports media personality Chris Broussard joined Fox Sports One’s Undisputed hosts Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe to discuss the speculation surrounding Antetokounmpo and if he could join the reigning NBA Finals MVP LeBron James, Defensive Player of the Year finalist Anthony Davis and the Lakers, who have been impressive in the offseason so far and have already emerged as the top candidate to win the 2021 NBA championship.

As per recent reports, Antetokounmpo will be signing the supermax deal offered by the Bucks. His next five-year extension could be worth $247.3 million, carrying a $42.6m, $46m, $49.5m, $52.9m, and $56.3 million cap hit.

Prior to the NBA bubble, the four-time NBA All-Star averaged 29.6 points on 54.7 percent shooting, 13.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in just 30.9 minutes per game.
