Trading Patrick Beverley would be ‘difficult’ for the Los Angeles Clippers, according to an NBA executive.

As the executive believes, it would not be easy for the Clippers to trade Beverley because of his injuries and his current contract.

“Yet each executive said Patrick Beverley would prove most difficult to get value from in any potential trade because of inconsistent health and a contract that will pay him $27 million over the next two seasons.

That contract, one executive said, was a “negative” that could require the Clippers to attach draft picks in any deal,” Andrew Grief of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Beverley has two years and $27.6M left on his contract with the Clippers.
