The Milwaukee Bucks have officially signed 10th overall pick Brayden Burries to his rookie-scale contract, the team announced Sunday.

He becomes the 23rd first-round selection from the 2026 NBA Draft to officially sign his rookie deal.

Burries impressed during his lone season at Arizona, averaging 16.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.5 steals while shooting 49.1 percent from the field, 39.1 percent from three-point range, and 80.5 percent from the free-throw line.

His strong freshman campaign earned him First Team All-Big 12 honors and established him as a lottery pick.

Many draft experts projected Burries to go ninth overall to the Dallas Mavericks, but Dallas instead selected Morez Johnson Jr., allowing Milwaukee to take the 6-foot-4 guard with the 10th pick.

He was also the Bucks’ first draft selection following the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade to the Miami Heat.

Burries’ rookie contract will pay him approximately $6.42 million in 2026-27 and is worth about $29.21 million over four years.
