Bogdan Bogdanovic will join the Atlanta Hawks, as the Sacramento Kings declined to match the $72 million offer sheet, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, Sacramento leaned strongly towards not matching the offer The Hawks made to the guard/forward from Serbia.

The Hawks offered a four-year, $72M deal to Bogdanovic with the Serbian reportedly not being happy as the Kings ‘de-prioritized’ the situation around his contract renewal.

Bogdanovic averaged a career-best 15.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in a career-high 29.0 minutes per game, leading the Kings to a 31-41 record last season.

With Bogdanovic moving to Atlanta, the Hawks are adding another shot-creator to the roster alongside Trae Young and Danilo Gallinari.
