Washington Wizards point guard John Wall has reportedly made it clear that he wants a trade out of Washington, according to Shams Charania.

This comes as talks between the Houston Rockets and Wizards on a Russell Westbrook-for-Wall trade have stalled.

It was first reported on Nov. 17 that the Rockets and Wizards were discussing the deal centered around the two star guards.

Both Westbrook, 32, and Wall, 30, now want to be traded from their respective teams and it will be interesting to see if and when a deal will be made.

Wall appeared ready to make a return for the Wizards and play alongside Bradley Beal and Davis Bertans this upcoming season after rehabbing and recovering from various injuries including a torn Achilles over the past two seasons.

Recently, Wall was said to be “surprised” by general manager Tommy Sheppard saying the team is building around Bradley Beal.
