The Minnesota Timberwolves are searching for a trade partner to make a deal for guard/forward Malik Beasley, per ESPN’s Vincent Goodwill.

Beasley is a restricted free agent, after Minessota made a qualifying offer for the promising shooting guard.

The former Nuggets scoring dynamo averaged 20 points per contest after being traded from Denver to Minnesota last season.

The Timberwolves seemed uncertain about offering an extension to Beasley, who is drawing interest from the New York Knicks, according to Goodwill.
