The Utah Jazz are trading Ed Davis and two 2023 second round picks to the New York Knicks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Jazz will save $5 million in salary for the 2020-2021 NBA season and are working to re-sign Jordan Clarkson, Wojnarowski notes.

Extensions are also reportedly on the horizon for Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.

Davis, 31, who signed a two-year, $9.8 million deal with the Jazz a year ago, only played in 28 games last season, averaging a career-low 1.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Along with the two 2023 draft picks from the Jazz, the Knicks also received the Detroit Pistons’ 2023 second round pick in last night’s draft.

The Knicks “really love” that 2023 high school draft class, notes Marc Berman of The New York Post.
