Stephen A. Smith reacted to the possibility of James Harden joining the Brooklyn Nets and playing alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
Smith, an NBA analyst for ESPN, believes such a move will immediately make the Nets the favorites to win the 2021 NBA championship.
Smith also explained what Brooklyn should do to sign Harden. “Somebody’s got to be willing to put together a deal that will enable you to get strong compensation for his services,” Smith said during his appearance on ESPN’s First Take.
Even though Harden has been inclined to join Brooklyn, there have been no ongoing talks between the Houston Rockets and the Nets.
