The Philadelphia 76ers involved in conversations around point guard Chris Paul, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.

Paul has been one of the most referenced names this offseason for potentially contending teams like the Sixers.

Windhorst said in his podcast that there have been “cursory conversations” between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Oklahoma City Thunder, but he feels there is no traction for neither side to make a deal.

After a mediocre run during his last season with the Rockets, Paul rejuvenate his career in Oklahoma. In particular, he led the Thunder to the fifth seed in the tough Western Conference.

The veteran superstar played in 70 of the available 72 games last season leading Oklahoma one shot away from the Western Conference semifinals.

He averaged 17.6 points, 6.7 assists and 5.0 rebounds in 31.5 minutes per game.
