The Houston Rockets have emerged as a candidate to sign Serge Ibaka, according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN, via the RealGM.

Ibaka, who is a free agent, spent the last four seasons with the Toronto Raptors and has already attracted the interest of several teams.

The defending champions Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets are among the candidates to sign him, while it will not be unlikely if he re-signs with the Raptors.

Ibaka averaged a career-high 15.4 points and 8.2 rebounds for Toronto last season.
