Sergio Scariolo shared his thoughts on the opportunity he had to coach both Pau and Marc Gasol.
The Italian coach admitted that coaching the Gasol brothers was a ‘blessing’.
“It was a blessing to coach them. It is demanding, because you can’t bulls**t with them, because they are top players. You have to listen to them, because they are always there, they want to win.
They are committed and on board and have basketball knowledge. This is a great situation for a coach,” Scariolo told Fran Fraschilla during his appearance on the World of Basketball podcast.
Scariolo and the Gasol brothers claimed multiple titles together as members of the Spanish national team. Marc Gasol and Scariolo also won the 2019 NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors.
