The New York Knicks are seriously considering trading back in the upcoming draft, if neither LaMelo Ball nor James Wiseman fall back at the eighth spot, per Marc Berman of NY Post.

According to Berman, the Knicks are in conversation about swapping with a team in “the Nos. 12-15 range to gain a young player in his rookie contract while still making a lottery pick”.

One player that may be in the Knicks’ radar in that range is Tyrese Maxey, the one-and-done guard coming from Kentucky.

As Berman reports, the Knicks would absolutely love to select either LaMelo Ball or James Wiseman, but they are not expected to be available in the no.8 pick.
