LeBron James opened up about the game-winning three-pointer of Anthony Davis in Game 2 between the Lakers and the Nuggets.
James called Davis’ three-pointer at the buzzer ‘a special moment for a special player’.
“Did you see my reaction after he made it? I tried to chase him down like every one of the teammates and staff we had out there. Special moment for a special player. Happy to be a part of it,” James told reporters, via the Lakers Nation.
James (26 points, 20 in the first half) and Davis (31 points, 22 in the second half) were the best players for the Lakers, who now lead the series 2-0.
On the other hand, the Nuggets came back from a 16-point deficit, yet they missed the chance to even the series.
Game 3 is on Tuesday.
