Anthony Davis shared his thoughts on the upcoming matchup against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
The big man of the Los Angeles Lakers opened up about the challenge of guarding the Serbian center.
“He’s a tough guy to guard. (He’s) able to shoot the ball, he can pass extremely well. He can go in the post. There are a lot of ways he can beat you,” Davis said about Jokic, via Mike Trudell of Lakers.com.
Davis is averaging 27.6 points, 10.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.5 blocks for the Lakers in the playoffs.
Meanwhile, for the Nuggets, Jokic is posting 25.4 points, 10.8 boards and 6.0 assists per game.
Game 1 between the Lakers and the Nuggets is on Friday.
