Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks couldn’t maintain their good start to finish Game 1 vs. Miami Heat with a victory.

The reigning MVP and Defensive Player of the Year was asked about Jimmy Butler and why he didn’t guard him during the crunch time.

“To guard him? No, I didn’t. Why would you ask that? I’ll do whatever coach wants me to do,” Giannis said, per Ben Golliver. Antetokounmpo finished the contest with 18 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in a night that he took just 12 shots.

Five of them came off the three-point line with Bam Adebayo and the rest of the Heat closing on the paint to stop the MVP candidate from finding easy baskets.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks will have the chance to play again the Miami Heat and possibly tie the series on Wednesday.
