Brandon Ingram was named the Most Improved Player of the Year in the NBA on Monday and shared his thoughts on his achievement.

The superstar of the New Orleans Pelicans averaged 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 62 games this season.

He made his first All-Star team in the 2019/20 season and has established himself as one of the best young scorers in the NBA.

Ingram, who joined the Pelicans last summer, will be a restricted free agent in the coming offseason.

New Orleans is expected to sign Ingram to a lucrative max contract this summer.
