The Philadelphia 76ers are willing to build their new roster around Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

It seems the front office has no plans to break up the partnership between the two stars, yet it is certain both Simmons and Embiid will play under a new head coach.

Head coach Brett Brown is expected to part ways with the team, after another season ended in disappointment.

“It is believed that the franchise remains committed to building around All-Stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, with the likely onus on figuring out the proper dynamics — on and off the floor — in the hands of the next coach,” Charania reports.

The Sixers got swept by the Boston Celtics in the opening round of the playoffs.
