Lokomotiv adds Gerald Green

In a surprise move Lokomotiv Kuban signed former NBA player Gerald Green to its squad. Although it was heavily rumoured that Green was close to signing with Benetton Treviso, it was Lokomotiv who announned his signing today.

Green (203cm, 23 years old) is a small forward and was signed to become one of the team;s main offensive weapons. Prior to his move to Lokomotiv Green has played for four NBA teams, Boston Celtic, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves.

In 2007 he won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest and in 2008 he was the runner-up behind Dwight Howard.
