The New Orleans Pelicans big man Jonas Valanciunas is set to represent Lithuania in upcoming qualifiers and the Olympics. Lithuania will participate in a qualifying tournament in Puerto Rico from July 2 to July 7.
The initial group includes the Ivory Coast and Mexico, while the second group features Bahrain, Italy, and Puerto Rico. The top team from this tournament will secure a spot in Group C at the Olympics, joining the United States, Serbia, and South Sudan.
