Utah Jazz point guard Mike Conley Jr. returned to the NBA campus on Monday night after leaving for the birth of his son.

There’s optimism that Conley could clear his quarantine and be ready to suit up for Game 3 against the Denver Nuggets on Aug. 21, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

For approved absences from the NBA “bubble”, if a player leaves for fewer than seven days and tests negative on each day that he is away, he would only have to quarantine for four days upon returning.

Conley was reportedly testing negative while he was away which is why he has a chance to play in the team’s Game 3.
