Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward will undergo an MRI on his sprained right ankle, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Hayward left the team’s Game 1 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers limping in the fourth quarter.

He was ruled out of the game shortly after he left.

Hayward reportedly left the arena in crutches and had his foot in a boot, according to Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe.

Hayward finished the game with 12 points, four rebounds, three assists and four steals.

If he is forced to miss time, the Celtics could choose to go with smaller lineups.
