James Harden opened up about his rumored beef with Chris Paul, one day before Game 1 between the Houston Rockets and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Harden and Paul were teammates in the Rockets and reportedly had a beef last season, with Paul getting traded to the Thunder eventually.
Harden, though, said he is not taking his matchup with Paul personally.
“I’m trying to win games and a playoff series,” Harden told reporters, via Salman Ali of Clutchpoints.
The Rockets and the Thunder finished the regular season with identical records. Game 1 will take place on Tuesday.
