The Los Angeles Lakers went down 92-107 against the reigning champions Toronto Raptors in the second seeding game in Orlando. It was the second loss to Toronto this season for the Purple and Gold.

After the game, LeBron James, who had 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists, talked about the defeat. The 35-year-old superstar pointed at a poor 3-point percentage of the Lakers. He also gave credit to the Raptors, saying they won the title last season not just because of Kawhi Leonard.

“You execute your offense to get the best shot, and we did that tonight. And we went 10 for 40 from the 3-point line. I believe a lot of those 40 threes are great looks,” James said, per Kyle Goon.

“I mean, they won a championship for a reason. And it wasn’t just all solely because of Kawhi and obviously you see that,” LeBron credited the Raptors for their win.

Despite the defeat, Los Angeles remains atop the Western Conference and is at a very strong position to secure the first seed in the West for the playoffs.
