Kyle Kuzma was the second top scorer for the Los Angeles Lakers with 16 points, behind LeBron James who hit 20, as his team went down against the Toronto Raptors. The reigning NBA champions showed what their defense is capable of by locking down Anthony Davis, who had just 14 points and 6 rebounds.
Post game, Kuzma gave his views on the defeat. “For most of the game they game they double teamed Anthony [Davis] and LeBron [James] in the post left a lot of the guys open to hit some shots. We just didn’t hit shots tonight,” he told Allie Clifton of Spectrum SportsNet. “We got what we wanted great shots, open shots it’s up for us to hit them.”
