Washington Wizards rookie Rui Hachimura was pretty impressive against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Wizards’ forward scored 19 points and shot 53% from the field in 28 minutes in his team’s latest scrimmage game.

The Japanese international was having a great rookie season until the basketball hiatus in March, averaging 13.4 points, 6 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 29.7 minutes per contest.

The DC franchise is not expected to reach the postseason, as both Bradley Beal and Davis Bertans decided to sit out the season resumption. However, they are going to have a chance to evaluate their roster for the next season during the seeding games.
