Harrison Barnes‘ career with the Sacramento Kings began with a brief turnaround. He will have another one in Orlando ahead of the resumption of the NBA season.

Sacramento acquired Barnes in an exchange from the Dallas Mavericks on February 7, 2019. Coach Dave Joerger then started Barnes with a small lead the following day, playing 37 minutes in a 102-96 victory over the Miami Heat.

Now playing under Luke Walton, Barnes practiced on Sunday for the first time since arriving in Orlando on Friday. There is a good chance that Barnes will join the Kings fight the next day against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Barnes waited in Sacramento for 20 days, trying to cancel the NBA’s coronavirus protocol. Once in the bubble, he needed to test twice for the coronavirus before joining the Kings on the field of practice.
