The Los Angeles Clippers have lost yet another player, as Lou Williams has left the “bubble” due to an excused absence.

He is expected to return to the campus soon, according to ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk.

Williams is now the fifth NBA player to leave the “bubble” and the third from the Clippers, joining Montrezl Harrell and Patrick Beverley.

Williams played 16 minutes in the Clippers’ first scrimmage, scoring a game-high 22 points in a 99-90 win over the Orlando Magic.

The Clippers next scrimmage is against the Washington Wizards on July 25 and their first of eight “seeding games” is against the Los Angeles Lakers on July 30.
