Denver Nuggets backup point guard Monte Morris is scheduled to join the team in Orlando today, according to Kendra Andrews of The Athletic.

Keita Bates-Diop recently joined the Nuggets as well.

It’s unclear why both players’ arrivals in Orlando were delayed, but they’ll be required to quarantine for 48 hours, take a physical and test negative for coronavirus twice before participating in basketball activities.

Morris has developed into an important piece of the Nuggets’ rotation, averaging 8.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in 21.6 minutes per game.

Bates-Diop only played in two games for the Nuggets this season after playing 37 games for the Minnesota Timberwolves, as he was dealt to the Nuggets at the trade deadline.

He also played a few games in the G League to get some extra game action.

Guard Gary Harris and swingman Torry Craig also recently joined the Nuggets, while Michael Porter Jr. reportedly was en route to join the team a couple days ago.

The Nuggets are getting back to full strength.
