Brooklyn Nets signed Tyler Johnson for the NBA season restart in Orlando, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The former Phoenix guard will replace Theo Pinson, who has been waived, per Shams Charania.

Johnson, 28, played 31 games for the Phoenix Suns, before becoming a free agent in February. The Fresno State product, a 35.8% career shooter, is capable of playing both the point and the shooting guard position.

The Nets have pursued Johnson before, signing him to a $50 million offer sheet in 2016 before it was matched by the Miami Heat.
